Every Child is looking for an energetic and passionate caseworker to support foster children and families in our community. Our Foster Care caseworkers help families become certified foster homes and support them in providing a stable environment for children in care.

About the role:

Our caseworkers are responsible for assisting foster families through the certification process and serve as their primary contact through their placements. Caseworkers aid families through the connection to affirming resources and provide support. Caseworkers serve as a conduit between the child’s service team, providers, and the foster caregivers.

You’ll be a good fit if you possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.

  • An understanding of the child welfare system and their computer systems are a plus

  • One to two years related experience and/or internship preferred.

  • Strong ability to personally relate one-on-one with each client and build solid relationships

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-business hours, such as after school, evening, and/or on weekends

  • Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving and maintain confidential data

  • Ability to travel, driving to meetings at client’s homes or to activities
