Every Child, Inc. to Bring New Film Friday’s Child to Pittsburgh
Attend the Pittsburgh premiere screening of hard truths about aging out of foster care
Pittsburgh, PA [May 3, 2019] – Every Child, Inc. will be hosting the Pittsburgh premiere Friday’s Child at AMC South Hills 10 on May 21st, 2019 at 7:30PM.
Fresh out of foster care at age 18, Richie Wincott collides with the perils and temptations of a life apart. Becoming a prime suspect in a botched robbery, he discovers an impossible love in an unlikely friend. But with the police on his heels, and a sinister stranger threatening to reveal Richie's past, there may not be enough time to do the right thing.
An introduction about foster care in Allegheny County will occur before the movie, and a Q&A will follow the movie.

Each year, over 20,000 foster youth will age out of foster care. Facing instant adulthood, thousands of foster youth must independently find housing, employment, feed and clothe themselves, with little to no support, often without a high school diploma, job experience, or a place to live.
