You can make a difference in the life of a child.
Since 1997 Every Child has served children and their families in Southwestern Pennsylvania with foster care, adoption and family support services, including in-home behavioral health care, with special attention to medically fragile children, children with a diagnosis of autism or reactive attachment disorder, and members of the LGBTQ community.
Our mission is to develop, preserve, and strengthen the relationships to family and community that are essential to every child’s growth and development through child-focused, family-driven services.
Every day, the children and families we serve create beauty out of the fire of life’s adversity with the support and guidance of our dedicated staff. Please take some time to enjoy stories about their commitment, struggles and joy. These stories, told by our families, have been written and curated by journalists from Storyburgh, a nonprofit community storytelling platform that seeks to foster discussion and engage the community with under-reported, under-told stories. Storyburgh is open to both professional and citizen journalists through a collaborative platform for photographers, writers, and other visual storytellers to document local stories. Please share these stories with others!

Every Child, we thank you so much for understanding our situation and working with us by providing guidance, emotional support and well-needed respite so that we retired grandparents can remember who we are and that we are not alone with our struggles.
What inspires me to continue to do the work I do is knowing that I am making a difference by helping people create and obtain goals they once thought were nearly impossible--helping them to see in themselves all the possibilities I already see in them!
Being in this program, working with our Every Child case worker, has helped me not be overwhelmed with all the paperwork and things like that. Our Every Child case worker provides me with good moral support, and so many other things it's hard to put into words.
Our services give families hope to help them address their struggles in the face of adversity.
